Exterior Hand Wash
Our exterior hand wash goes far beyond what any automated car wash can offer. We use a two-bucket method with pH-neutral soap, grit guards, and microfiber mitts to safely lift dirt without introducing swirl marks or scratches.

What's Included
Every MV CarWash exterior hand wash starts with a thorough pre-rinse to remove loose debris, followed by a foam cannon application that encapsulates dirt particles for safe removal. We then hand-wash every panel using the two-bucket method — one for soapy water, one for rinsing — to prevent cross-contamination that causes swirl marks.
Wheels and tires get dedicated attention with specialized wheel-safe cleaners that break down brake dust without damaging finishes. We dress tires with a UV-protective coating that prevents cracking and browning, leaving a clean satin finish — not that greasy, over-shined look.
We finish with a filtered-water rinse, hand-dry with premium drying towels, and apply a spray sealant to all painted surfaces for added protection between details. Windows are cleaned inside and out for a streak-free finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an exterior hand wash take?
A typical exterior hand wash takes 45–60 minutes depending on the size and condition of your vehicle. SUVs and trucks take slightly longer than sedans.
Will the hand wash scratch my paint?
No. We use a two-bucket wash method with grit guards, pH-neutral soap, and premium microfiber mitts specifically designed to prevent scratching and swirl marks. This is far safer than any brush-based car wash.
How often should I get an exterior wash?
For most vehicles in the Hamptons, we recommend every 2–3 weeks during summer and monthly during winter. Salt air, pollen, and road salt can damage your clear coat if left too long.
Can you wash my car in my apartment or condo parking garage?
Yes — our mobile setup is designed for tight spaces. We use minimal water and capture all runoff, so we can operate in parking garages, condos, and shared lots.
